Race Entry Application
To join a SACA bike race (for all bike disciplines
except for biketrial and downhill races and any other race where
specific application forms are prescribed), follow the simple
steps below :-
1. Print the generic SACA
Event Entry and Release Form and complete the portions relevant
to your application. When filling out the form, please assist us
by writing clearly and legibly, and tick the right columns in the
entry form to assist us with the processing of the entry form. If
you are 18 years old and below as at 1st January 2006, you need
your parent's consent and signature on the entry form to join the
race. Please note the various categories for the different races
which you wish to participate in and tick accordingly. Please also
read the general rules and regulations specified on the form and
the general rules and regulations applicable to the race.
For biketrial races, kindly follow
the registration and payment instructions on http://www.attitudebikes.com/Biketrial/index.html
or http://www.attitudebikes.com/.
For downhill races,
print the SACA
DH Entry and Release Form and follow the instructions given
in the information about the race.
2. Kindly either (a) mail the form to the SACA
Maiing Address or (b) visit any SACA
Registration Centre and submit your form, together with the
appropriate event entry fees. All entry forms and entry fees must
reach the above locations by the closing date specified on the SACA
website (and if no closing date is specified, by the Thursday prior
to the event). An administration fee of S$20 will
be levied on riders who are 15 years old and above for late registration
(ie. registration after the closing date including on race day,
unless otherwise specified).
3. Membership fees are payable by cheque or in
cash. Cheques are to be made payable to “Singapore
Amateur Cycling Association”. Cheques made out to
“SACA” will not be accepted. Cheques
may be mailed to the SACA Mailing Address or deposited at any SACA
Registration Centre (see above). Cash payments shall only be made
to the SACA Registration Centres. Please do not send cash by post.
4. We will try to get your membership card delivered
to you as soon as we can. In the event you have not received your
membership card before an event which requires (a) a SACA Membership
licence, please check that your name is on the updated membership
list, and (b) a UCI-SACA Membership licence, please e-mail membership@cycling.org.sg
to inquire about the status of your application.
5. The above entry form and entry fees apply unless a specific entry
form and entry fees are specified in relation to the event on the
SACA website, in which case the latter shall apply to the event
specified.
