Gangsa - Biker-X Nationals 23 Feb 2003

1.       Location and General Information

Gangsa Biker X course is located on at the mid point of Mandai and Bukit Timah reserve on the mainland Singapore. Thanks to the Management of N parks, we were able to create a permanent centre of excellance for this discipline.

The hill boasts a decent altitude of 150 (amongst the highest available) and its virgin geological formation makes for an interesting run. The Biker-cross or 4X Race race will be organised by SACA folowing UCI 2002 worldcup, rules and format.

Point to note is that N parks is making an effort to assist us in developing all forms of cycling thus in return as cyclist we should make an effort to work and

support them.

2.               Transportation and Parking

There are a few ways to get to the location.

The first way is to park at the Bukit Panjang area near Bangkit road

and cross the road to get in from the foot of the hill from under the BKE.

The other way is to enter by Chestnut Ave & drive to the end of the road till you reach Chestnut MTB track.
